An expat mothers group contracted Signature Medical Concierge for a private Basic First Aid Training and AED Session for toddlers and babies on August 30, 2025, held at Signature’s office. The session aimed to empower parents with essential life-saving skills, ensuring they are prepared to respond confidently during emergencies involving young children.
Basic First Aid and AED training is one of the many accredited programs offered by Signature Medical Concierge. The session was led by Dr. Daniel Luchangco, who brought his expertise and calm, reassuring approach to the group. He provided valuable insights on handling common emergencies such as choking, burns, and sudden infant distress, emphasizing the importance of quick and proper response.
Beyond the lecture and discussion, Dr. Luchangco demonstrated the correct techniques for performing CPR and chest compressions on infant and toddler dummies. He also guided the group on the proper use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), highlighting its role in emergency situations. The highlight of the training was when participants practiced CPR, chest compressions, and AED use on the dummies themselves, gaining hands-on experience that boosted their confidence and readiness to respond in real-life situations.
